Last

Last

A Poem by Krista

One last word
"help"
One last thought
"why me"
One last smile
which is fake.
One last laugh,
that you brought me before you died.
You wanted to live,
one last sunset.
One last breeze,
hearing the wind blow past my ear.
One last bird chirping,
trying to decide how to go.
Seeing the nature around me,
brings me peace.
One last question
" Will you even notice if I'm gone?"
One last song
"Her last words"
Now I will go,
Leave you to think about what you did.
