Unseen Pain

Unseen Pain

A Poem by Krista

I've seen the pain,
in your eyes.
You may believe,
you hide it so very well.
From most that is probably true,
for me it is not.
I have the same pain,
hidden deep deep inside.
Having the need,
for someone to just care,
love,
hug
me.
Needing someone to say,
" I see the pain,
what is wrong?"
Needing someone that I can trust,
someone whose arms I can break down in.
Sometimes I don't care who,
other times I do.
Bottling everything up the way I do,
Leaving unseen tear drops,
run down my face,
from a pain nobody else can possibly know,
is what I think,
I see it in you,
probably better than anyone else.
I have the same in me.
Hidden pain,
Hidden emotion,
Hidden past.
Too much is hidden.
