To Life

I've lost and I've  beaten

I've dispensed and I've taken 

I've fought and I've fled 

I've succeeded and I've failed

I've tried and I've given up

I've stepped down and I've stood up

I've finished and I've started 

I've been foolish and I've outsmarted 

I've loved and I've hated 

I've gone and I've waited 

I've soothed and I've suffered 

I've withheld and I've offered 

I've dived under and I've climbed over 

I've tried to believe and I've tried to wander

I died 

But then I survived.

This is a great poem. Full of emotion and pain, but then ending with a hopeful bleakness. Keep it up, i’m Excited to see what more you have to offer.
