Wings

Wings

A Poem by LivingHope.
"

A poem I wrote for my Communication Arts class

"

She has beautiful wings like a bird.
They are her escape from her life.
And she has a family too;
A family with wings like birds.
Six of them in all,
And each as different as the first.

They all escape from lives of loss
To lives of beautiful flight
And belonging, flying way up high
In that very bright blue sky.
Reaching speeds too high to count,
They want to keep going but cannot.

It is a life they love,
And one to keep forever,
But it will not last,
It can wear out fast.
Conflicts will end, and more will arise.
Nothing can compare to their life with wings.

She has wings like a bird,
They are her way of life.

Escapism: beautiful. This is nicely written, it flows well and you've used punctuation effectively. I really like it.
