Save me

Save me

A Poem by kay
"

A little scribble

"
It's shiny and rugged as it cools my skin
The hypocrisy of it all amuses me, I smirk
I watch as the smooth liquid pours out
My arm goes numb, my brain in a coma
A tidal wave crashes over my body
I breathe
And I cry, and I scream
But no one hears me
I'm begging to be found
but petrified to be saved
I lie down
The tile cools my skin as my heart bursts in to flames
A sweet and slow destruction
My skin is burning, the comatose is over
I wipe up the liquid from the floor
And I leave my wounds to dry
I place the blade in the cabinet and walk out the door
Pleading next time to be found.

I've never been a cutter. While in high school a close friend shared her experience with cutting. I wrote this in class after listening to her story.

actually when i read it i could see heroin drug use, i didn't see the cutting imagery till the end and that was cool because it was like this poem had two meanings and thats not easy to do, good job

About
Almost anything on here is what I wrote in high school, about four or more years ago. Found these a while ago and just wanted somewhere to have them so I remember them. more..
