Save meA Poem by kayA little scribbleIt's shiny and rugged as it cools my skin The hypocrisy of it all amuses me, I smirk I watch as the smooth liquid pours out My arm goes numb, my brain in a coma A tidal wave crashes over my body I breathe And I cry, and I scream But no one hears me I'm begging to be found but petrified to be saved I lie down The tile cools my skin as my heart bursts in to flames A sweet and slow destruction My skin is burning, the comatose is over I wipe up the liquid from the floor And I leave my wounds to dry I place the blade in the cabinet and walk out the door Pleading next time to be found.
