Dreams

Dreams

A Poem by Kryston

In the darkness you hear the laugter,

No matter which way you run it follows you

Your heart beating fast,

You're running out of breathe

The air starts to get thin,

The darkness is closing in on you

The laughter is close now,

There is no way out

Cold bloody hands reach out for you,

You hear "goodbye" see the knife to late

Head shoots up you see the moon,

your blankets on your bed

Hear the calming words of your mother trying to soothe you

Yet the laughter is still ringing,

Ringing in your ears always ringing

Letting you know that the dream was just the beginning
