Piece of blue skyA Poem by Krystal
Starring into the cloudy sky that grey afternoon
I had not a trace of what might next befall me Fate, hate, love They had all failed but were still kept alive Picking up these pieces that is the hard part Like the dead wood in winter So the sun did depart from my presence Shadowing me with a garment of darkness The oil of life has run dry And the spring of will was broken, ....perhaps, beyond repair There was not a flicker of hope to be seen As the silvery light of pain settled in Torn between both worlds I stared into unending space It came upon me suddenly Seizing my conscious mind It has no form, no end, no life, just a mission, to crush I took it all in until it became a part of my wounded soul There was not a trace of life to leverage As i let myself fall into this destructible emptiness In a flash, it showed a ray of hope One i sorely wished would stay the moment with me But my broken wounded soul knew without a trace of doubt That this was just a ray The ray grew and glittered in my darkness It gave a little hope Then , in a flash, it was gone Not a clue t o what might next befall me Fate, hate, love They had all failed but were still kept alive Picking up these pieces that is the hard part There was a piece of blue sky in that ray of hope, I saw it, felt it, touched it, lived it, I became that piece of blue sky To wander in those dark garments no more. © 2015 Krystal |
