I found this on my old computer

Something i did in 7th grade

I was told in ELA to write a story about a girl in a painting. In this painting the girl was sitting by a tree looking at the moon. Kind of sad feel to it. But to me this is pointless. Now your going to want to hear this. She is just a painting, fictional. She has no emotion, no story, for she is fake. But some artist made this beautiful picture. So now a beautiful piece of art is now used for a writing prompt. What is the point? To get better? To exercise my writing skills? If that is the case why would I be writing about something that doesn't have real problems that will change nothing? Why not write about a real life problem? You still with me? Good. Because only people who want to do something with there life will continue.  Hey maybe some of us would actually grow some problem solving skills. Maybe even spread our ideas and actually change something. People underestimate what one thing can change. But for now, we will just say we want a new IPhone cry, whine, post about how much we hate her/him and write stupid prompts.
