Days of war

Days of war

A Poem by kruti90899
"

Its about what one feels as a warrior during a war and how he or she describes it.

"

Those were the days of dark night,

One could never change it

While they lay helplessly on the battlefield

trying to do their bit.

With their pikes and swords

And guns and rifles

Killing their rivals

As if they were trifles!

Blood marked every step

Pain,jealousy and enmity was born

Someone leaned on the other for help

while someone was torn...

"Fire!Kill them!"were the only words to be heard,

And pain and helplessness to be seen

Some wanted this evil play to stop

While to kill, some were keen.

People felp numb,

Many were brutally killed

Others mourned

While some lost thier reasons to live.

The sky went black

And the ground, soaked with blood

For enmity, revenge and cruelty

had caused a mighty and dreadful flood!
