A Poem by kruser23

Pictures of  a girl and

I. Stories of a war.

The shotglass heard

Around this little world.

A song like shrapnel; Eyes

Like a fogged and frosted winshield

I can't see a thing

Wonderful...

You are very good at taking a small amount of words, and making something much bigger out of it.
It's a talent.

Another powerful image you paint with your words.

Too often the sighted are blind to what is happening. Be it by choice or ignorance, not seeing also dulls the sense of feeling. Your poem has sparked lots of thoughts, and I like poetry that does just that. Sharon

I really love this bit
"A song like shrapnel; Eyes
Like a fogged and frosted winshield

I can't see a thing "

It is very powerful.
