Youthful Violence

Youthful Violence

A Poem by kjsa
"

.

"

so long, goodbye

those deadly tools

of mass destruction,

bloody execution

chemical gas

bullets made of brass

blades of steel

 the drunk behind the wheel

is it our nature

or is it by choice

to make others suffer

to make-'em die

it starts when we were just little

the teasing  and bullying

watching them piddle

laughing at the crying

no mercy at the age of six

terror of the meek

passion of the crime

the hymn's of the weak

echo across the world

as we sit watching

the glowing screen

believing in our invincibility

when you look out

neighbors are being robbed

terrified you stand

heroic ability no where seen

just another unthinking drone

pity, pity you have no soul

telling us stories of your youthful glory
