"

Um.. just because I had an idea. Isnt that what all writing is? Read it if you want to know what its about.

"

She sat there staring at the night sky, mulling over her day. She couldn't believe that her friends were so blind! I guess its true that people only see what they expect to see... She needed someone to lean on, to understand that underneath it all, she was completely different. That her laughter and smiles were all a mask. Someone who would know without having to be told. But her friends were blind to it all.

She heard someone quitely approaching. "Hey, Kylin, what are you doing out here by yourself?" the voice asked.

Kylin sighed. She just needed time to think, but it didn't look like that was going to happen. "I'm thinking, Jessi."

Kylin heard her friend babbling on behind her, but she wasn't listening. It wasn't like she was interested in the latest gossip anyways. Who cared who liked who, and who hated this persons guts? Not Kylin.

"Kylin? KYLIN! Are you even listening to me?" And of course, Kylin wasn't, so there was no response. "Why do you have to be so anti-social, huh? Its like you don't even want to hang out anymore. Then you have to go and ignore me while I am clearly talking to you. Oh well, I'll see ya later when you're in a better mood."Then Jessi stalked off.

Well, Kylin thought, I guess they'll never know who I really am until I either take off my mask, or they take it off for me. I guess seeing only what you believe to be true is a common disease amongst humans....

And she stayed their. Silently wishing for someone who could see through her mask.
