The Way It FeelsA Poem by K.S. McClurea poem for my boyfriend... ILYMy immagination cannot create the same feelings, as the reality of the way things actually are.
The longing I feel for your arms to wrap around me, is unbearable when we are apart. It's as if I am missing a part of myself.
The way your eyes look at me, as if I'm the only one worth looking at.
The smile you give me, is for me and me alone. When you smile at others, It is not the same.
The way you want to protect me, from every evil and every person, just makes me happy inside.
The way you are possessive, of me and will let potential competitors, in your eyes at least, know not to lay a hand on me.
But this I must confess, for your stubborn mind needs to know, I love you and you alone.
You need not worry of others, who think they, of all things, can break the bond between us.
They way it feels, for me to know what its like to be loved, is the sweetest emotion I've ever felt.
And,
I am determined, for you to know exactly what I mean.
And,
that you know what its like to be loved.
Because.
When I look at you, in my eyes, you are the only one worth looking at, worth knowing that the look is meant only for you.
The smile, I give to you, is yours and no one else's. It is much more brighter, much more loving, and is meant for only you.
The way I want to protect you, protect you from the sadness the world so harshly dishes out.
I want you to understand,
that I don't want anyone else hanging all over you, like they own you. And that I will truly do everything, to get them away from you.
Because.
I dont want anyone, anyone, trying to get between us.
Because.
After knowing how it feels, to be loved, what would I do? What would you do?
I want you to know how it feels to be loved by me.
I love you. Forever and Always, Always and Forever. © 2008 K.S. McClureAuthor's Note
