Cozy James

Cozy James

A Poem by Kristina Yoder

Dulcet tones,
scarf in hand.
A melancholy walk,
A melancholy man.

Emanating warmth from a place deep within,
accessible to everyone
but him.

Across his face a smile breaks.
Across his heart he hides an ache.
Streaks of blood.
Streaks of black.
But no one sees,
no one laughs.

Cozy in his light
we are-
always reaching,
always far.

Always far... wow. "Just out of reach but still in touch" BD. It sets a real cool tone and rides out smoothly if not with a touch of ennui.

It reads like a vivid book. I admire the style!
