Into ViewA Poem by Kristina Yoder
Every day that passes
every page turn of the calendar brings with it, comfort. As I get further away from that day and its icy cold abyss- the distance diminishes its impact. Each turn of the earth brings me closer to the sun the light and all the life it carries in its wake. The life inside the birdsong The beetle skittering by- the green growth down low the woodpecker up high. I welcome the distance from the season the grieving, the sickness, the heaving I look ahead and up to the hues that take me away and breathe life into view. © 2023 Kristina YoderFeatured Review
