Safe TravelsA Poem by Kristina Yoder
Rhythmic thumps that
give the illusion of safety; A beating heart surrounded by a million other beating hearts in tin cans. Pavement, glass and flesh, flash at once; veering the course in a direction unknown, unexpected and unfree. Buckles and bags pretending to protect. Reality will have you next. © 2020 Kristina Yoder |
