365 Kisses

This poem is an expression of love for a person in a long distance relationship. You can't love a person perfectly but you can do creative ways to bring sparks and bridge the distance

I wonder if you ever knew

how many times I've stolen kisses from you

Those moments in the dusky hue

while you slumber, I committed the crime also

It's the sweetest crime I've ever done

and I swear there would have been more to come

because I wanted to kiss you every single day

but sadly I couldn't keep you to stay

So now I want you to know

how much I loved and cherished you.

We may be together just a few days a year

but I've kissed you 365 kisses whenever you were near.
