Everlasting Love

Every time I look into your eyes
I know that your feelings are like mine
Because your eyes speak the truth

When you give me that cute look

Every time I think of your smile
The world just stops for a while
Because you’re the only one in my mind
Whom I think of every time.

When I’m not with you I miss you very much
And every second seems like a long time
But it gives me the courage for the next time
To hug you tight to my heart.

When I’m with you every second flies very fast
Because your presence makes my day so bright
But I cherish every moment I’m with you
Which makes me content to be with you.

Enjoyed the read Kristina. I rather like repetition of words line to line, use it myself on numerous writes. Tend to feel it give a write that wrapping sensation. Hey, that's just me talkin. Tom

I think you've got the poetic heart. This piece was crafted with wonderful intent and the emotional imagery is very evident. I do think that it's flow could be improved. Try not to start lines with "But" or "Because" those are often filler words that simply take up space.

The last two lines held alot of sentiment that I think is crucial to make this piece work. However, ending both those lines with the same two words really takes away from the power of the piece.

This was an joy to read. Keep on writing!
