We were born in the images of bull s**t ....they are subliminal inkblots on physiological highs....they smoked crack and wrote notes .....they are fraudulent imposters.... charging us for survival and our time. Don't ask me and I won't tell you .....I just say what I say and squat where I feel need. I'm invested. Till next time.....
I think this is one of the best poems I have ever read on this site. Amazing!!

Quite wonderful ... KN ... looks like you stumbled into the poet's graveyard ... in your part of the world. Its an incredibly objective view of the experience of man ... viewed in relation to human passions ... and the inability to complete our sense of want with regard to it. I've no doubt that there's a simple reason for it ... but would depend on how we bring ourselves to view and express the phenomenon ... with no complaints ... and praises none. Nicely done.
Moving through the windswept shelters
Tenants
Under the perpetual suspicion
Of the loveless
Landlords
I blame biology, that drive to procreate, for the inconstancy of love. We are programmed a certain way to up our chances of leaving progeny. Perhaps, we can grow past our programming and find a lasting kind of love. God knows we are pretty adept at leaving progeny.
I was blown away by this write K.N., an abstract piece that leads the reader to understanding rather than veiling it. Hard to do and you did so brilliantly.
a 100 ragged tenants from me.

Once again: Thank you, Frieda :) I really appreciate it!
Three great poets, both Ezra Pound and T.S Eliot and then theres K.N Lorenzen for this was a thought provoking piece. You write about heavier times, modernist movement seemed like yesterday through this poetic cry. Amen to a poetic deliverance like yourself.

I am sincerely grateful :)
frankness as never before,
disillusions as never told in the old days,
hysterias, trench confessions,
laughter out of dead bellies.
