nobody knows me

nobody knows me

A Poem by kristen empey

Nobody knows the real me,
Nobody knows how many times,
I've sat in my room and cried,
How many times I've lost hope,
How many times I've been let down,
How many times I've held down the tears,

Nobody knows how many times I've felt like I'm about to snap,
But don't for the sake of others,
How many times the thoughts that go through my head,
Whenever I'm sad,
And how horrible they really are.

That is sad, nobody knows the real you. Someday someone will, and you will find their company sweet I believe. It's important to have company, some type of company. What type I don't know, but we have to search to find the people like a quest and collect them carefully, each of us fragile, each of us allowed to go our own ways, at times, when possible, or else conflict ensues or escalates, but that is as it should be perhaps, I have to discover who I myself am in light and reflected by others for others, let me make my body both a ruler and a servant, that is how this writing in combination with my current life inspires me personally, I don't know if you find that helpful in a review, but thank you for sharing these thoughts with us

Relatable, many people goes through a period of time when they feel no one notice them. Especially writers we go though it the most always wanting people to pay attention to our work. For we spent time and effort carefully placing pieces of emotions of ourselves in each piece we write. And we our work goes unnoticed it's a stabbed in the heart that's why many writers are self-conscious of what they write and what they put out. Then on top of all that we must live in this world and go through normal life problems so it's like writers goes through twice the turmoil.

Few people show their real face. Hide sadness and depression. I liked the honest and direct flow of the thoughts in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
