Jack-O-Lantern HeartA Poem by Kristen GraceScoop away all feeling Hollow out my heart I feel the knife within me Sharpening with thought You scar me ever slightly I try to play my part. Is this what trust is about, A jack-o-lantern heart? Why can't I just be happy I am breaking apart. Now I will leave this But memory lives on. Someday soon I will create this, A smile on my heart.
