Shattered

Shattered
Broken into a sea of
Endless pieces

I can't seem to make piece
With the reflection I see in the shards.

Changing and morphing
Pieces force themselves together
But I cannot be what I am not.

I have molded too many times
Assumed my role
Played my part.

My heart aches to understand itself,
To make peace with it's pieces.
