The Carousel

The Carousel

A Poem by kristen0928

Round and round
The carousel
My mind swirls
With the nostalgic tunes

Twinkling
Like a music box
Where the ballerina twirls
Stopping when I close the lid
Halting her neverending performance
In this world

But the carousel
Just won't stop turning
Around and around it goes
And the one thing I've be learning
Is that where it stops, you'll never know

About
I love writing and reading. I have trouble sleeping. I think too much and love too deep. I have too many feelings and ponderings about life, and write therapeutically (as I'm sure most people do) more..

Writing
Running Running
