life is short.

See this life is to short just to live in pain,
you gotta be happy once then forever remain,
The same,
Cause people love to play games,
Keep your head up for yourself and stick up for your name,
Its a shame how we live in this world of lust,
living greedy for the money having nobody to trust,
I regained my self again and told myself the truth,
Nothing is what it seems, not even with the proof,
Don't judge a book by its cover if its wearing a frown,
because we've all been tossed aside and thrown onto the ground,
No matter how dirty we get, we got a level of respect,
Think about the world around you and the people you effect,
Think about you mom and dad, your sister and brother,
So corrupt from the media making us fight each other,
There's no one else left for us no hypothetical love,
Only god and the angels shining light through from above.

Criticism first: you used the wrong "too" in the first line, you need an apostrophe in "Its" from line six, and the repetition of myself kind of throws off the flow a bit.

Other than that... this is a great poem full of great imagery, social commentary and personal emotion. The rhythm and rhyme are wonderful. Great job.
