A Poem by Krissy

People Scattered Everywhere,
roads were dark and red.
All the towns were quiet now,
most civilians dead.

I shivered on that cold damp road,
lying on my back.
Glancing over to my best friend,
his eyes a lifeless black.

Getting up and limping on,
that cold and dark day.
Looked up again and screamed aloud,
all of you will pay.

I walked through the ruined town,
as guns made deadly heat.
I fell to the ground not able to move,
my heart refused to beat.
