screams

Screams of terror
Scattering feet
Darkness overwhelms us
Feeling of defeat
Run little children
Hide away
We may be safe someday
Board up the windows
Don't make a sound
Hoping they wont come around
Screeching howls deafen us all
All that separates us is a wall
In time light will return
But after darkness it might burn
