ray of sunshine

rays of sunshine
shine on her delicate face
while shes trying to hide her pain
her dull blue eyes
begin to shine
when he walks by
he glimpses at her
with his gorgeous smile
then he turns and walks away
she always says
one day he'll be hers
but that could never happen
unless a ray of hope.
