London BridgeA Poem by KristinaIt is about a person who meets her lover on the London Bridge. I wrote this poem to show how life is very important, including love which unites us and only death can seperate us.Long time ago When I had no friends at all A short story happened While I was abroad. I was in In a cold rainy day Walking all alone Waiting for someone to approach. Rain rain rain Seemed to stop no way The minute I reached the bridge I saw him on that day. We kept looking at each other As if we were from the same mother He smiled and I smiled back And in no time we became friends. Some time passed And we became close The Our meeting point. One day he knelt to the ground And pulled out a ring that costed pounds He asked me to marry him And I kissed him on the chin. Bye bye good times and hello bad times I became lonely at nights When he joined the army To defend the country. The war was the one that separated us From the world we created He got killed on the bridge With nothing less complicated. The bridge is all I’ve got now It brought him to me and took him from me Feeling the remorse and feeling down Waiting for my last minute to die. © 2012 KristinaAuthor's Note
