Where Life Lies

Where Life Lies

A Poem by kris reed
"

Quest for truth and freedom (2008?)

"

Where leather meets road

And the horizon is your eye.

Where rivers are paddled

And mountains touch sky.

Where the wind sends kisses

And tomorrow’s weather.

Where home is here

And experience forever.

Where rain stops thirst

And berries halt hunger.

Where smiles are constant

And joys younger.

Where blood flows deep

And persecution abounds.

Where you find yourself

And lose what surrounds.

Where you can never be lonely

And your needs are met.

Where you are nature

And freedom your debt.

Where life begins

And earth’s all around.

Where lies cannot be told

And love is found.
