SalmonA Poem by Randolf RamosDistant memories are sweeter than this world to beholdFeast, laughter song and poems Distant memories yet so sweet Rekindling like ember flashbacks, Serenade the lament of every moment Reminisce, oh dear, Splurge into extravagance of memories Nothing is so sweet than a parr Discovery of morning sunset Out of childish fascination, Fresh as flowers, dews and bees, In an early humid cold A sight and feeling of wonderment behold. The wander years that was long gone, Stream of memories sweeter than none. All salmon swim against all odds To be at home in what they knew and had. Sweet it is, this journey in life we’ve seen Sweeter is the story untold, onto places we’ve been If memories like salmon swim against the stream This will be the sweetest among all it seem. © 2011 Randolf RamosAuthor's Note
