Forty Winks on Dover Beach

Forty Winks on Dover Beach

A Poem by Randolf Ramos

The wind fainly sway,
lending forty winks
Swiftly playing with dune
into downy flakes
A dover noon sealed a soul in kind
Many own idle thoughts,
flitted through this mind.

This is a lovely start to the poem! I think it could also stand on its own, should you decide to leave it the way it is. It feels very peaceful, and calm. Thanks for sharing it!

I like the location of Dover beach. In my young days I took the ferry to England. The beauty was amazing. I have the pictures still of the cliffs. A very good beginning to the poem.
