Heaven and Earth

It was about blaming gravity -  after all
In this hafling suit, fiery courage burns the exenorate sky
I became feather of soft clouds
Invincible, a God somehow

Befriending immortality, who knew that
there are swirl of wind shear
in every burn of rocket fuel
Aeropause kissed me once again

Free fall eases this onus
from a flight n'er the last
Earth welcomes me in once more
The same path I went in before

the instant imprint of image through my hazy morning mind was that of a flyer in one of those old open planes caught out of time ~ swimming skies ~ a ghost perchance~ before the motor gave forth its final cough and fell into a whisper~ a spiral down in smoke on a helix of time frames colliding~ very imaginative poetic that brings about an entire story unfolding~ from my mind anyway~successfully written~engaged by and much enjoyed~
