Iron for Iron, Teeth for Teeth

Iron for Iron, Teeth for Teeth

A Poem by Randolf Ramos

This sea, battered with storm and rain
And salt water piranhas on my way
my boat almost sunk from the sharks
perseverance and a little help from a boat
that keeps its buoyancy
is the thing that helped me to see the land
that will save me.
Archimedes law had made me lived
stretching abyss is way to far
but as the dawn breaks its light
I see the silhouette of the magnificent land

This billowing waves made me strong
And a lesson like a song
This waves will not make me sink
Outsmarting the piranhas and the sharks.
By piranha i been a piranha
by shark i'm like a shark
sensitivities to the unknown
is a thing of the past
This sea is a molding ground
and waiting on the edge of the land
is my brethren's stretching hand.
