MirrorA Poem by Randolf RamosDescriptive poem
Mirror, lie to me not
On this age of conquest This wrinkled face awaits to be told Time betrays if to be young is a crime I mustered my strength in time But flame on candle someday loses spark I did found a light on the dark Mirror, tell me what is not On my teenage years you complimented me much I have given life to life And retire with wrinkled face If death awaits what life will hold? Is it not death life itself? Scorned by my own reflection on dawning years For death, human's were on race Mirror does not reflect our fate nor destiny. © 2010 Randolf Ramos |
