Fatherhood

Fatherhood

A Poem by Randolf Ramos
"

a dedication to my father

"

Hell or high water it came.
All of the onus of fatherhood.
Perhaps an ounce of you
Portrayed, rendered, set - out, enacted, limned.
Yet, imperfect, half wielded I am.

Feasted on love be it lifetime
And beyond or until
This life whisper no more
Hence, a lifetime of luck
Entwined
Revered
Secured

Deigratia!
All love and respect
Yes! Indeed, this day calls for a celebration.
