Motherland

Motherland

A Poem by Randolf Ramos
"

( CATANDUANES )

"
Hail to thee, oh supreme, thou who bestow.
This pearl on the orient pristine sea.
To whom therein luster and shines know.
Beauty reposed for all souls to see.

Colors, shapes hath not only lease.
Paints sweet myrtle in air gently sway..
Birds singing lullaby brings peace.
Earth's paradise bloom in mirthful May .

Oh thou, doth lend, which lend gem to thine eyes.
This garden of little cherubs grow.
He giveth eternal paradise.
In time blessed this land of perennial shores.

Bowed by years withered though, love n'er fade.
To motherland nurturing us till end.
