Anger

It came from the shadows
a force unknown
to take over the lives
of others to be told

It hid its face
with shame of itself
It hunted for others
for their eyes, their mouth

It once was a man
then a shadow
it fed on face
You'd never know

A monster it has become
lurking in the dark
for its next victim to come
walls ready for its next blood mark

If you try to stop it
it will come for you
I would know
It left a scar on me too

we all have our moments
we all get upset
but emotions overwhelm
You'll do something to regret

So watch out for the monster
that lurks in the dark
It hides within all of us
something that can't be controlled

though we can fight
fight it with love
