Love forever, or until I plot your death...The Cat

I see you are fast asleep, therefore

On the foot of your bed, I will creep

Leaving special presents,

To make more work for you;

Because it brightens your day.

Oh how I love you!!!!

And only wish I could say,

 

“Get up already and FEED ME!

And then,

Let’s play.”

What?

No, you insolent fool!  

These professions of love

aren't from the damn Dog!!

Do you  really think that drool sack

is capable of such sophistication,

and respectable class?

Ugghhh!!!

 

Let me say this correctly,

In a way that will be sure to last

 

Love Furever,

- Or more likely,

until I plot your death!

Hahahahah I love this! I've never had a cat (for more than a month or two) but from my friends I know that they could relate to this! Great Job! I mean is there anything more left to say, this is so witty and clever. I love that stab at the dog and yor cat picture at the bottom is perfect. (Cute by the way as well) Just great job :)

This was purrrrfect. (I can't believe someone didn't already use that) I am a cat owner as well, 3 of them. Townie, Mr. Cat and Edgar and believe me all 3 of these cats know how to say feed me, it is the first thing I hear every morning. Very fuuny Kristin, I loved this.

He's been my companion for 9 years and he is 11 years old. I do know him only too well lol. I was trying to capture him possibly plotting to kill my husband, lol. As I am convinced in Charlies mind my husband is one step below the dog :)

I live with 3 cats, and I certainly can relate to a lot of this. Especially the 'feed me' part. My cat cries at my door at 4am every morning to be fed haha. Great poem though. Excellent work!

Haha Yes, this is my cats to a "tee". One of my cats is a tabby, and he always looks at me with such evil eyes, but he also follows me around and sleeps on the foot of the bed, so either he is planning to kill me at some point, or he does enjoy my company; I can't qutie tell.
