Success

This is a poem from my soul and heart.....

Someone said earning honour is success ,

Other said earning money is success , 

Yet another said earning position in society is success ,

But i said

Earning happiness is what is success.

                                                                 Success is the enchanting word ,

                                                                 the bewildering noun ,

                                                                 the horrifying feeling ,

                                                                 and the beautiful treasure.

For what a student wakes till night

Takes water on his sleepy face and again studies ,

A dancer though tired

practices his dance ,

A musician pains his throat

But again and again sings his song ,

This is success.

                                                               The meaning of success might vary ,

                                                                But the centre of attraction it offers

                                                                is the same be it Anne or Mary ,

                                                      

Someone wise said

Running behind money is what makes you mad

but in every work searching for satisfaction , 

is what makes your every reaction a successful action.........

Someone wise said
Running behind money is what makes you mad
but in every work searching for satisfaction,
is what makes you're every reaction a successful action.

I like your above lines, So valuable & meaningful.

Success is just a Flower of happiness,
Someone says No penny, No penny less,

Sikander has the ambition to win the world,
that means success for him.
Before, he achieves success with the sword,
Understand the true meaning of life.
What is necessary or what is so silly,
Success is just a kite of life.
He will die & to win the whole world still his dream.

I have not any sense of poet but I think to express feeling there is only one mega highway of words which is poetry so I tried.

According to me, Success means When you achieve something & your mom says son, after all, you do it & I am so proud of you, my son, That words means a true success.

I try my level best to do something in poets or poems because it's not kind of my thing. I am good in writing stories and blogs But I will continue & improve it in further.

I'm old. I believe success is knowing happiness and sharing life with the people you love. We must work, but if work is life. Family is not. This is very sad.

The paper chase ... an occupation of the young. In the old days a student would serve as apprentice to a master of the work. Today we take it out of a book. The one uses hands and the other mind ... and ... oh yes ... burning the candle at both ends.

You are right... success in my opinion should be measure by yourself as happiness. The power you have, money you earn means nothing without happiness. Many people perceive success differently... at the end of the day I would rather be happy regardless of anything else.
