Daisy

Daisy

A Poem by kreativ_skribe

One day she'll fly away from

This earth to which she's bound
One day she'll spread her wings

And lift her feet up off the ground
And that will be the day when her whole life changes
For then she'll be truly free

Fly
Oh fly

Daisy flies, like a leaf blown in the sky
Daisy soars, though she cannot reason why
Just look at her, like a bird
Flying solo, flying free
And now she bids come fly with me

Fly
Oh fly

Listen to the wind as it

Passes through the trees
It whispers and it sighs
Oh, it never truly leaves
Ask the sky, the reasons why
And then come whisper soft to me

Why

I

Fly.

Thanks! I found the original format that I wrote this in, before I typed it up from memory...kinda scattered.

I like it. More imagery please. I think if you formalize the structure it will make this piece stronger.
