Clock Strikes

Clock Strikes

A Poem by 陈丽慈

clockworks and gears shifting

the raucous reclamation

boisterous

hell wouldn’t even put up with this

radio waves

high frequencies--deafening

so shrill,

shrieks of youth

or hurt or force

God it stings my ears.
