Sonnet#2

This is only the second sonnet that I've written. I'd love to know what you guys think.

 Your Policies of hate and oppression

Have done harm to so many people

Shaping mentalities of aggression,

Raising up a monument, your steeple.

 

Bringing into this world, a collection

Of misguided youth, my generation.

Give us this day our daily injection

Of bullshit from our administration.

 

We sit passively as they rob us blind,

We don’t notice that they’ve got everything,

In their hands.  To close our eyes we’ve resigned

Not noticing things done by the rightwing.

 

We have to wake up!  Stop taking their pills.

If we don’t do something who on earth will?
