Jealousy

Jealousy

A Poem by Stephanie
"

A poem about the most dangerous emotion there is.

"

Jealousy

Is if you ask me one of the most dangerous emotions.

It can drive you to do horrible things.

It does not matter if you envy love, friendship or success,

it is all the same insane driving emotion.

It is the most common cause of murder today,

and sadly I can see why.

It is if not the most dangerous emotion if you ask me.

It can make you hate people you have loved,

or just make you hate people overall.

The emotion devours all of your sympathy for that one person.

That one person that caused you all of your pain.

It can make you feel like you are the loneliest person ever.

Being dropped down a black void of emptiness,

to later find out that the road you are on is heading to insanity.

Homicides committed in the blindness of jealousy are often the most brutal.

The victims often being violently stabbed and left to die a horrible death.

To be honest I understand why.

The person that have caused you so much pain and successfully driven you to insanity.

I can understand why you would like that person to feel your pain.

That is why I now can say without doubt,

jealousy is the most dangerous emotion there is.

Loved your write: just would like to make a suggestion (if you don’t mind) – the following edit would support the theme and give more imagery and format depth to the write. – bless

Jealousy, if you ask me
Is a most dangerous emotion

It can drive you to do horrible things
Not mattering if you envy love, friendship or success
It is an emotional insane driving passion

The most common cause
Of murder today
And sadly I can see why

In my opinion covetousness
Is a most dangerous emotion

It can make you
Hate people that you have loved,
Or have hatred of people overall

Jealousy devours
All sympathy for a special person
Especially the one that caused this pain

It can make you feel great loneliness
Being dropped down
Into a black void of emptiness

To later find
Out that the road
You are heading towards insanity

Homicides committed
In the blindness of jealousy
Are often the most brutal

The victims often being
Violently stabbed and left to die
A horrible death

To be candid I recognize reprisal
To the person responsible for so much pain
That one who has driven you to madness

I can understand
Why you would like that person
To share you’re hurting

That is why
I can say without doubt
Jealousy is the most dangerous of all

Yet another intriguing post and this tithe many ways people adopts jealousy.. It exists.. it hurts both the one who feels the deep centred emotion, but is also adopted by people who want to find what others have that they consider should be theirs in the first place. Often being obsessive leads to jealousy for those who need overmuch and dont care who they hurt offside their own somewhat scary greed.. because that's the rworst kinof jealousy // sad though it could seen but.. two negatives do not make a positive.

As to style: your skil in which you lay your words is more than fine.. it is yours, it splays the you-ness of how you feel, how your view the word ' Jealousy' , the emotion ofsuch a vast and often dangerous feeling.. You're explicit, honest, phrase well, and unlike my review, doesnt' blather! Here, I stop. .

I have to say that was really amazing. There's so much writing about suicide, which is very important, but you don't hear much about jealousy/homicides, and I think its happening more often. I'm so glad you wrote this.
