WhirlpoolsA Poem by Jasmina Amethyst PendragonI miss my husband. He had to go on a business trip and though it has only been a short time, I am anxious for his return. In the meantime, I picture his eyes so blue....All I can hear is a rumbling storm Thunderclaps ringing in my ears Then blue whirlpools swirled with fire And my eyes fill with tears
So beautiful the love he bares And I know not who this is I only know that I love him Truly, this is love, love lives
So many colors in and out of my life Red's hate consumes my heart Black hides me from the pain And kills Pink before she starts
I shouldn't know love anymore It's too hard to recognize it I think it's time for the end There is no love, it doesn't fit
Then blue whirlpools swirled with fire And my eyes fill with tears There is someone out there for me Someone to erase all colors fears
Nobody wants to go at life alone So, I say why bother trying so hard? Why not accept your colors given? Why let your heart get marred!?
Then blue whirlpools swirled with fire..... © 2008 Jasmina Amethyst PendragonFeatured Review
