PrologueA Chapter by kovnts 6:29 flashes on my small little
clock, the sun streams in through my windows. That's just the date, I never
care about the time. There, you see that? I just lied: it's not June, and the
sun is not streaming through my windows. Crazy how easy lying is. Its 4:05 in
the morning, and its August twenty eighth, but of course I am asleep so this
doesn't matter. But, I've now been rotating on this Earth living in a warped society
for precisely 16 and a half years. For those people who are reading this book
(or for that matter those who aren't as well) that don't like math, aren't good
at it, or just don't feel like using your brain right now, that means that my
birthday is February 28th.
Fact: I have a easy time getting out
of bed in the mornings, and everyone knows that. In fact, everyone knows pretty
much everything about me. So I just told you something, and I
would take a guess to say that most of you believed what you read for the sole
reason that I told you it's a fact. Well, it's not. See how easy it is to
believe a lie?
It's dark outside, but not too dark.
But of course, you don't care. Now, I already told you that people lie because
they don't want to tell the truth. Well it's not that I don't want to tell the
truth, I just want people to understand that you can't go through life
believing everything you think is true because then people lie too much and no
one really knows what's actually happening, even if they think they do. So just
don't trust everyone too much. Be skeptical. Think for yourself. Please.
