Reading it cold - the first time, well, the mind wants to change - to correct (in its own view) words necessarily chosen to drive a harsh emotional impact into something more fitting of our own mind's belief of intent. Reaching the end, well, like I said - one hell of a painting.
You know, this reminds me of "Through the Looking Glass", when Alice is attempting to decipher the text in the beginning of the story. Sometimes it takes sitting with something and really listening to truly see the intention emerge.

I don't know if that is the case here. I tried. Mostly it is just very personal. Like I used to write as a teenager. Therapeutic poetry can be this secret diary type of note to oneself. If others can feel something or "find" something then that is a bonus. Sometimes it is more about just trying to figure myself out. Does that make sense?

You see things that I mean to have meant or maybe I meant but didn't know I said. Yes. Choosing. And trying to look at where to go next. And the struggle. But how it's all worth it. How even when it doesn't make sense it means something. Or how we need for it to mean something. How we need love to mean something. How we want it so much it becomes need. Joyflying. Soullaughing. Bewilding. You are dear to me, love. Or something like that . . .
