I have never seen a living stone. To me, it really was its own poem. I don't think I'm alone to think that sometimes nature is better than art. Artists attempt to do it some sort of justice and often fail. If this video let you down after my poem than I have truly failed. When I saw a flower open from a stone it gave me tears. The metaphorical implications aside . . . the sheer beauty of it for me, and the irony??? No, that isn't right either. I'll keep working at it. I have a poem I wrote about a headless dove I saw flying around in my side yard that gives me this same type of trouble. When I'm so moved by REALITY . . . I guess I don't do so well at translating it to words.

YOUR thoughts were what touched inside my mind and gave rise to further thoughts of my own. Nature IS a host of individual miracles transcending most attempts to duplicate the wonders but in this particular case, for me, your thoughts were the more important and power-full.
Poetry can bloom and wither from many sources and muses...Bravo

Wow. So true. I feel the power of your wisdom...No pun intended...You are welcome...:)..............
Some plants can grow almost anywhere...even force their way through a tarmac pavement! Others are more delicate and need just the right conditions to flourish. A bit like people really! An interesting and thought-provoking write.
Interesting concept... I have to say that it took me a couple of readings before I was confident that I could make a decision as to what this was really about--I came up with the idea of poetry and words (as they are one of the fullest forms of emotion) being life, and the way that life has a tendancy to to "soldier on" so to speak, even when it must burst through stone to do so. Anyway...I liked the imagery, and the flow was nice.

It's now made a smile on my smile, a feel of coldness comes from the piece, you refreshed my mind by your words used in the piece. It's a piece of peace. I loved this piece, so creatively you've drafted every word ...it's really suited with yer title. Well done, once again a creative job by a creative writer i've seen. Beautifully written piece once again!
