tragedy of possession

tragedy of possession

A Poem by Deeper La'jik

Tragedy of possession
Concealed love
Falling in the distance
The stars will catch me
Dope rush
Blood lust
Intense
The lion of all royalties
Evanescence of the fiery white moon
I'm slipping into this wicked dream
Wine sheds
Darkness stains its equal gleam
Your love
Your high
Supreme high
Sweet death
You left me to die
Left me addicted
You left your memories
Your pleasure lingering under my skin
Corrupt
Sin
Wicked
Forever the waters run deep

This poem makes me feel! There is an intensity in it, and the placement on the right
margin is effective for me.
It is all powerful, but I especially like
"Evanescence of the fiery white moon
I'm slipping into this wicked dream" these lines are quite evocative!

"You left your memories
Your pleasure lingering under my skin"

The last stanza is almost chilling.
