Beauty and the tricks it plays.

Beauty and the tricks it plays.

A Poem by Samantha Koshiol

Beauty is funny when you're not expecting to find it.

Sometimes it taps you right on the shoulder, demanding your attention.

Claiming that it's free,

And that it could be a part of me.

What a temptation,

When beauty is in the fore-front..

What to do?

Gaze awhile like I wish to?

Maybe grasp a piece of it?

Right next to me,

Yet I feel, I'd reach across a valley.

So this is hardly what one deems measurable.

It's left me up at night,

Longing, thinking, pondering, wondering..

What could come next?
