A Poem by Samantha Koshiol
"

poem/rap. idk it falls somewhere in the middle.

"

one in a world of billions

does it even mean anything?

if i amount to trillions

write my soul, sell my life

avoid the battle, all the hype

people think I'm ignorant

but I know whats right

don't ever try to test me

and distract me from the light

because thats where I'm headed

ain't puttin up no fight

but I'm living with my heart

like i don't give a damn

and the worst part is

I can't depart with the part of you

that shows me who i am

see this wasn't my plan

with my mind on the grind,

just trying to hustle for a grand

now i can't stand

how you flip my mind

from time to time

I told you d****t,

I didn't plan it

but yet theres no point

you say "I hate to disappoint you

but lets get to the point"

we have no fate, i sware

i can't relate

if theres a battle for your name

I will wait to participate

take place in the game

yet it remains the same time frame

that I pictured yesterday

and followed me through the day

let me down easy,

pretend to say

this won't be easy,

when both of us know

you really need me.

Please me with the tease,

That I got you where I need too

So when I get close,

I can read the signs to feel you
